Another Pattern...

... came in the mail and I can't wait to finish the hearth rug so I can start it! ☺

Just a Little off Subject. lol

We've had a storm come through here for the last 2-3 days and it left us with snow. Yup, snow in Southern Cal. :O lol In the desert no less! Here's some pics of my surroundings during and after:

Another Square for the Hearth Rug

Finished a couple more squares yesterday since my net was being a pain. This is the last design for the second large square. The square below and this one (2 each) will make one full size square of which I need to make 6 total. The 3 large ones are already done. Now I have 9 more small ones to do. :| lol

So now I've got 3 squares done, 2 of the last post and this one. I'm really liking the colors. ☺ This is one of the  4 small squares that will make up one large squares like the one 2 posts (or is it 3?) below. lol

First Square. :D

Well, I have the first couple of squares done for the hearth rug and still have 12 more to go. 1 large and 11 small. I'm a bit unsure of what they want me to do though. Not in the instructions but in the design itself. They want me to cut out a star shape in the middle of one of the squares and leave it open. I'm not really sure I want to do that since I've always tossed rugs with holes in them. lol So what do you all think? Should I cut it out or add something in it?

*Sigh* Still waiting...

.. for the book I ordered to get here! :'(
In the meantime, I'm still working on the Hearth Rug from the Fireside book I've had forever. lol

New Project

So, I've been having this problem with getting into my current projects so I went out and bought the supplies for another project. *shame on me* lol Sooooooooo, without further ado, my newest project that I plan on starting today. ☺

I plan on starting on the hearth rug first

with a few adjustments on color of course. ;)

Oh the Horror! :'(

In getting out one of my projects last night that I wanted to work on, I discovered, to my heartache, that the pattern for it was missing! I'm really going to have to search every square inch of my place to find it because I just love this and it's almost done! It's so beautiful with the gold accents, I had to pick it up.

Another Current Project

While trying to ignore yesterday, I once again tried to work on this.

This is a king size afghan I've been working on for a pretty long time. lol

I stopped working on it for a while because the one I was making it for

up and moved away and I couldn't think of anyone else to give it to.

Now I have someone in mind that I think might enjoy it.

So I've once again continued to work on it.

Ok, I'm bad.

Didn't do anything in the way of crafts yesterday.

In my defense, I took out a latchhook

I've been working on and discovered

that some of the yarn had faded. *sigh*

So it looks like I'll be undoing a bunch

of it and redoing it all over again.

:(

Plastic Canvas Table Runners

I've discovered that I have collected

quite a few books on

various crafting projects

that I had completely forgotten about.

Yes, I know, shame on me. lol
