First Square. :D
Well, I have the first couple of squares done for the hearth rug and still have 12 more to go. 1 large and 11 small. I'm a bit unsure of what they want me to do though. Not in the instructions but in the design itself. They want me to cut out a star shape in the middle of one of the squares and leave it open. I'm not really sure I want to do that since I've always tossed rugs with holes in them. lol So what do you all think? Should I cut it out or add something in it?

Maybe just fill it in with a color? Maybe even something that's somewhat dark but goes well with the red outline
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that but I'd kind of like some sort of design that goes with the overall theme. Something that goes well with a star or square?
