I know it's been a while since I've added anything new,

but I do hope to be adding more in the coming weeks.

Things have gotten away from me for a bit but 

seem to be settling down now.

Another book!

Another book came that I had been waiting for!

And it also has my favorite saying in it! ☺ ☺ ☺

First Square. :D

Well, I have the first couple of squares done for the hearth rug and still have 12 more to go. 1 large and 11 small. I'm a bit unsure of what they want me to do though. Not in the instructions but in the design itself. They want me to cut out a star shape in the middle of one of the squares and leave it open. I'm not really sure I want to do that since I've always tossed rugs with holes in them. lol So what do you all think? Should I cut it out or add something in it?

*Sigh* Still waiting...

.. for the book I ordered to get here! :'(
In the meantime, I'm still working on the Hearth Rug from the Fireside book I've had forever. lol

Ok, I'm bad.

Didn't do anything in the way of crafts yesterday.

In my defense, I took out a latchhook

I've been working on and discovered

that some of the yarn had faded. *sigh*

So it looks like I'll be undoing a bunch

of it and redoing it all over again.
